Thanks for your input. I need all the help I can get.
I started this discussion in the middle of this problem I am having. I’m going to go back to day one.
The MH we are talking about is a 2002 Monaco Diplomat 36 ft. diesel pusher. I bought it in 2009. (original GFCI lasted 12 years ) In February 2014 the vanity GFCI tripped a couple times. OK. The coach is 12 years old. I replaced the vanity GFCI. It lasted one year. February this year it tripped at first every once and a while. During this time I bought an outlet tester. You all know the one it is I bet. Two yellows lit up showing everything correct. This tester also has a button on it to push to test the GFCIs. It also worked tripping both GFCIs. With in a few days the vanity GFCI would trip sometimes after 15 minutes to sometimes it would stay reset for two hours before tripping. It wasn’t many days and it would trip repeatedly to where I am now where it won’t reset at all. In my feeble mind this almost looks like a computer virus ( kidding of course ) Starts with a simple GFCI and winds up turning the electrical system into dust. The original vanity GFCI was 15 AMP. I replaced it last year with a 15 AMP GFCI. Then this year I was told by some know it all to put in a 20 AMP GFCI to match the 20 AMP CB it was on. That didn’t change anything.
