GFI circuit breaker

I have a 2007 Four winds 5000 and have no power to my outside outlets, I found the circuit in the bathroom and reset it and that outlet works fine, In the fuse box there are 2 breakers labeled gfc and both of them are on. Does this mean there are 2 circuits that need to be reset and I can only find one? It doesn't make sense to me that two circuit breakers go to one gfc outlet. Any ideas?
  • Yes, you most likely have two GFCI receptacles. Could be one in the galley area.
  • You also might try to turn off the breakers and then turn them back on. Sometimes it is difficult to see that one may be tripped. The older I get my eyes....and everything else....takes a while to catch up with me !!!!
  • Two AC breakers labeled GFI circuits then you have two separate circuits with GFIs.
Bathroom, kitchen typical locations......might even be in an outside compartment (wet bay)
  • My 2006 Fleetwood has three - Bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor. There can be more than one outlet connected to a GFI outlet. If the GFI outlet trips any other outlet connected to it is dead also. Check all the other outside compartments for a GFI outlet.

My 5er trailer has three GFCI zones - Kitchen area which also controls the outside 120VAC receptacle, the bath room area, and the wash up sink area in the bed room.

  • Turn off the 2 gfc breakers one at a time and see what does not work.

  • There is one in the kitchen that has a sticker on it saying it is a gfc circuit but there is no reset button on it
  • My Winnebago Outlook has 2 circuits....one in bedroom and one in Kitchen area (by the dinette). The plug on the outside is controlled by one of these circuits also.

If it has a sticker stating that it is a GFCI protected, there does not need to be a reset button on that outlet. The reset button is on another outlet in the circuit. On mine the two in the kitchen and dining area are controlled by the one in the bathroom. The breaker may also be a GFCI also. JMT
