77minnie winnie refridgerator
A friend has a 77 Minnie I'm trying to help him with. The refrigerator don't work. Gas or electric. I got pilot lit. I plugged it in to a 120v. Nothing. Anyone work on one of these? Thanks

Ammonia is the refrigerant in these fridges, so smelling of ammonia is proof of a leak. As everybody else has said, that's why it won't work.
While the newer fridges do need 12V to operate, not all of the older ones did. With a pilot, there's a good chance that this fridge did not require 12V power (and quite possibly has no 12V connections of any sort). That's all kind of moot if you're going to be replacing the fridge or at least its guts.
