90lb propane tank
is there something that you can do to keep the propane tank from rusting away mine lasted 12 years i notice alot of rust under and around it. is that a normal for that age time to replace. thanks! ...

Propane tank mounted in Motorhome........no need to replace unless damaged from wreck/fire.
Wire brush rusty areas and repaint. Replacing safety relief valve is good idea after 10 yrs. or so. But don't have to replace tank
Propane cylinders on trailers (portable)...no need to replace unless damaged. But they do require re-certification 12 yrs. after mfg. date stamped on collar. Visual inspection good for 5 yrs. then repeat until new regs or cylider doesn't pass re-cert.
