93 Brave Wall DC Light not working

I have a 93 Brave 27RC that has those two bulb wall lamps with the shade. While trying to troubleshoot why the one behind the front co-driver seat wasn't working after working for a while when I bought it I came to the conclusion that the push button switch had stopped working. I replaced the push button switch but it still does not work. I took a bulb from the identical lamp that does work and tried it in the lamp. Still does not work. The coach has a common ground system and the switch is a single pole single throw type. I tried measuring the voltage between the two leads coming from the wall but they produce some very minor voltage (not 12V.) What should I try next??? The two colors coming out of the wall are green and purple. Should I try one of them then a common ground source to check voltage? Thanks for reading this...

Can you measure voltage before the switch? If not I would run a wire to a known good ground and see if you get voltage from one of the two wires and that ground wire. Good luck.
