Like you I also have a 1996 Georgie Boy Cruisemaster. First of all to operate the jacks you will need to have the emergency brake on. Attached to the emergency brake is a switch that will apply a ground connection to the jack controller unit. Just yesterday I had to re-solder the wire to this switch because the jack controller was not working.
Hopefully I have explained this so it is understandable. If you need more info or a better explanation please let me know.
