is there a way to motorize my a and e 8500 awning?

- well, thanks for the answers, I guess I was thinking there was a powerhead that I could add to mine, I did see a cranking type head that could be converted

replace it.- I suggest you check out the installation instructions first. Most importantly, where the new top bolts are installed - you must have solid wood to bolt into and many RV's (like mine) don't have it at the very top of the wall where its needed.
- Carefree makes an electric arm set that can be used for either new installations or conversions of Carefree and A&E awnings.
