isn't that what I have on my TT, a removeable macerator hooked onto the dump outlet? if something goes haywire, just pull off the macerator and drag out the stinky slinky. much harder to do I would think on a macerator built into a toilet?

I can't pull the macerator out of my Roadtrek if it fails. It is an installed part of the plumbing under the van with both tanks and tank valves connecting to it. There is a "clean out" that can be opened but that results in everything in the tanks just pouring directly out to the ground immediately below. (Look out if you are under there getting the clean out open.) There is no connection for a hose. So there is no option to pull out the macerator and dragging out a hose. So what I stated related to permanently installed macerators with no option for a gravity dump.
