We all where new to this at one time or another. Good luck on your search! It is fun to go looking at the RV's and test drive a couple of them.
Are you sure that you really want to drive something that is 40 feet long? Some buy to large of a vehicle, then are afraid to take it out! Some buy to small of vehicle, then don't enjoy the camping because it is to compact, and they can not stretch their legs on a rainy day inside.
I started out with a $3,500 truck with a low cost camper on the back. Then upgraded to a much nicer camper, with furnace, refrigerator and bathroom that the first one did not have. Later upgrading to a class C, then class A in 1997 that I still have.
Have fun camping! At least you can use the internet to help in the search!
