Lots of great advice so far. When looking at motorhomes, we made sure we went into a unit and closed the doors and windows and shut off the music and air conditioner. Now listen to how much outside noise you do or do not hear. Compare that to other units.
We also had a Gas coach first before getting our current DP coach. Biggest reasons for upgrading to a DP was to get the extra cargo carrying capacity that we needed as fulltimers and the exhaust brake. I don't mind going slowly up a steep grade but I certainly mind going DOWN a steep grade too quickly.
