I can't seem to get to that website...? I do have the manual with the trouble shooting guide. That is what I was using to check the yellow wire for the 12 volt ignition on signal. At one plug, there was a 12 volt signal, at the second plug, 6 inches farther, it was two volts. In between the two plugs is the green wire attached to ground. It can't be just a wire, or it would be a hard short, but there must be something in that wire shrink wrap like a diode or resistor. Removing the section of wire unplugging both plugs and conntecting the free ends together results in the step to functio properly.
I am afraid I am removing some kind of circuit protection, however, and am hesitant to just leave it out.
