A tachometer in a P-30

I think she kept the BS level up. With the weight and frontal area of a MH, axle ratio, and technology of a 454 she was always driving downhill with a tail wind to get 12 mpg

Looking to increase my MPG, from what I understand the best RPM range for a Chevy 454 is about 1700 RPM. Of course can't stay in that range and cruise at 65 to 75 MPH! Will try from now on out, previous owner could get 10-12 MPG, guess she kept the speed down.

thank you all for the comments, yes it had a odd brake light,
I found a diameter cutting tool, and a milling machine, after much consideration because the cluster connector was in the way of the cutout, I will need to find a 12 pole male-female connector, but that's easy, the rear of the cluster has a plastic flexible printed circuit that will be done with regular wires individually.
tried to keep the tacho face away from the glass just a fraction away.
glued with black silicon.
