If running a separate dehumidifier AND the AC unit provided an advantage, this would have been done years ago.
That makes a lot of sense on the surface ... but a building and RV are two separate animals. RV's tend to have more people per sq ft - under powered air conditioners - less insulation - and host of other factors that might make your conclusion wrong. If comfort was the issue and someone else was paying the bill I probably would go for the combo of A/C and humidifier. No expert - just my 02.
