Thanks for your responses and the link to the manual. We've printed it.
Last night we managed to get things going by firing up the motor and running the gen set for a bit. We shut off the motor and generator and things looked normal, we apparently had electricity from AC. We left the rig plugged in overnight. This morning, the control panel was dark and there was no electricity to anything. DH phoned Fleetwood this morning, and it looks like the Intellitec EMS needs DC, which it wasn't getting because the coach batteries are dead and are not being charged. The lady at Fleetwood said if we really wanted to see if AC power was reaching the rig, try the front air conditioner, as it doesn't need DC at all. We haven't done that yet, but we have ordered new batteries. We were going to replace them this fall anyway. Fleetwood also said it's best to leave the motorhome plugged in to AC power when we're home. (As you said, Jerry.). We had been storing it in a building to which we normally turn off the power most of the time for security reasons.
For now, we'll try replacing the batteries and see if that fixes the issue.
Lots to learn, this is our first motorhome. I appreciate having a place where I can ask questions.
