AC WINDOW UNIT

I am wanting to install a AC window unit and would like to know what size to install. I have 2 13500 BTU rooftop units and want a ac window
unit to help beat the Texas heat. The company we work for supplies 12k generator and the window unit will be plugged into a 30amp plug by it self.

    is the generator that company supplies to you 115 volt or 230 volt? I don't think you will have much luck finding a 115 volt window unit any larger than 11 or 12 thousand btu's. 12,000 should be rated around 20 amps at 115 volts.

    If you only have 120-volts available, you will be limited to 12,000 BTUS on a window model.
