Winnebago may even have added these things to our rig:
- Exhaust system heat shields under the driver's/passenger's cab floors.
- Aluminum (instead of fiberglass) running boards.
- Aluminum rock shields behind the trailing edges of the front wheel wells.
My wife complains about heat on the floor on the passenger side of our Itasca E450. I have never felt any heat on the drivers side. I don't know (and haven't looked) if they added a heat shield. I'll have to look the next time I'm changing the oil. Of course if there is one, I won't know if it was added by Ford or Itasca. :) She also complained of heat on our Coachmen on an E350.
The fiberglass running boards/rock shields are normally an upgrade over the aluminum running boards. ;)
