What is the tenth digit of the VIN? F=2015, G=2016. If G you should have the 6 speed. Only other way to tell would be to physically check the model number of the transmission. 6R140 for the six speed, 5R110 is the five.
Personally I wouldn't worry about it. Either one will get you where you're going while the six speed will do it a few hundred RPM less. Plus you could say going with the mature power train could be better should there be something the design engineers missed.
