Advice removing water stains on front curtains

If the curtains have been on the coach for awhile, a dry cleaner will not even touch them. Best thing to do is to put them on a washer and wash them with cold water for a minimal time. Because if you take them to a dry cleaner they will fall apart.

We tried ORVUS soap, soft scrub, club soda, peroxide bathroom spray. They did come cleaner, but you could still see the stains.

We found some "INSTAGONE" at a "As Seen On TV" store today(thanks, jds475, for the suggestion!). DW sprayed them with this and the stains did indeed disappear. Amazing stuff considering where we bought it! She just sprayed them while they were in place. I would suggest taking them down and doing this outside. Instagone is a bit..negatively aromatic!

Curtains looks good again - and the stains looked terrible before.

Sprayed OxyClean on dry curtains, scrubbed with soft brush and then into washer.

Line dried.

My wife thought the staining might have been mold (from accumulated dust and dirt over the years and then wetted with condensation from touching the windows) so she added Sink-the Stink" (used to clean scuba gear).

In any case, the curtains looked horrible before and now look fine.

We cleaned ours (pleated) by soaking them in the bath tub using oxy clean. Let them soak for and hour and rubbing them, then took them outside on the driveway and rinsed them off w/ a hose. Let them dry in the sun and then tied them up w/ pleats in place. They came out like new!!

Jack at Colorado River Blinds told me to use is Club Soda he called it a trade secret! My wife and I have used Club Soda on many things since with great success! Remove the curtains pour on the Club Soda, then scrub gently with a soft bristle brush, let the curtains dry out in the sun and they will look near new. Our curtains were as you described when Jack seen them he told us about the trade secret that they use! You won't be sorry! Good Luck

Wife put them in the washing machine, then ironed them and they came out like new.

Oxy-Clean, The hotter water the better

Same curtains, same stains. The dry cleaner reviewed them and couldn't do the job due to the non-removable plastic clips. Washing them in Oxyclean was a waste of time. They are cleaner, they did not shrink on medium heat in the washer or dryer, but they still have water stains.
