For a comparison, go look at a fifteen year old Foretravel. Then go look at a five year old Forest River Georgetown. The difference in aging and quality should then be obvious. This comparison will show the value of a ten year old Foretravel to a new Georgetown. The new warranty on the Georgetown would be the only benefit. And, for approximately $6,000 you can purchase a four year bumper to bumper mechanical insurance policy to cover the Foretravel.
How do I know this. I purchased a four year old Itasca gas motorhome. Then, three years later purchased a ten year old Foretravel. There is no comparison in quality, features, and comfort between the two. Save yourself some money, go ahead and buy a used old Foretravel.
