Advise on 2015 Fleetwood Storm 28F?

Thinking of trading what I have now for a Fleetwood Storm 28F with gas engine. What are Triton engines? Ford Chassis is the option. Any complaints on this Class A RV? Any suggestions? They run around $80,000. Any better engine choice-gas or diesel if it come in that?
  • Triton is Ford's name for a line of their gasoline engines, including the V-10. The V-10 has an excellent reputation, good power and reliable. Mileage will be 6-8 mpg. The engine likes to rev and makes its power at a higher RPM than a diesel, but is very quiet while cruising on level terrain. Climb a grade and, yes, you'll hear the engine. 4-5000 RPM scares some people but it is NORMAL!!!! Ford chassis really the only option currently in a gas chassis as Chevy/Workhorse is not currently building RV chassis.
  • Suspect it is on a Ford F53 chassis with V10. 362 HP. Plenty of power for a 28' coach. Not aware of any other engine options on that chassis.
  • Its the Ford V-10 or nothing. There are no current alternatives since GM got out of the RV market. Diesel, yes.

BTW, the Triton is the Ford V-10
