I trust you have the Velvac Single Arm mirrors... Mostly on Rental Trucks, I've seen a supplemental wide angle mirror that attaches to the bottom edge of the Velvac head. I looked where I thought it was available, which is www.ryderfleetproducts.com but didn't see it in a quick look. Then again some of their products were missing the photo.
As personal preference, I don't think the little stick-on spots and wedges provide enough "look" for out kind of driving. I also don't like the idea of covering some of the precious few square inches the main mirror offers.
We have the Velvac "tripod" mounts with plain old mirror heads so I did this:


Different setup, I know. If you can find the add-on I tried to find, you can add a very neat-looking convex extension on the bottom of the single-arm Velvac.
