Our purty new truck has the tow package but lacks towing mirrors. We also want to add a tonneau cover to the bed so the TP from Costco doesn't fly out the back on the freeway. Can anyone recommend good qualities or brands to look for?

I use a bungee cord to hold our TP so can recommend a cover. CWMirrors

There are lots of mirrors to choose from, I can make some recommendations, but need to know the year, make and model of your current truck. Also, does it have heated mirrors or electrical folding mirrors?

Purchased yesterday, so I have most of that information. It's a 2014 F-150 XLS. No electrical folding mirrors.

Go to Amazon OR EbAY and you can buy factory OEM mirrors for half the price the dealers want. They tend to be the best quality available and maintain any features like heating and power movement.

I use the CIPA type slip on mirrors.. You can buy almost anywhere now, even WalMart. I love them since once they are adjusted, you can take them off and then put them back on and not have to readjust.

I have an Undercover Flex cover on my truck. It is a trifold like RoyB shows, just a different brand. Love that I can leave it on and fold with 1/3 covered and haul something too tall to fit under it. I also can stand upright and use all of bed when I am hauling limbs, etc. Love the fact that I don't have to remove cover to use the bed.

You can buy the factory replacement Max Tow "Dumbo" mirrors like THESE.

I went the other way. These mirrors came on my 2011 F-150 but didn't like them when not towing. I bought a set of standard mirrors for everyday use and reinstall my 'Dumbos' when towing. It takes about 15 minutes per mirror to swap them once you know how.

I also use the CIPA SLIP-ON mirrors on my F150 when needed.

We use the FOLD-A-COVER G4 ELITE Brand Lockable Hard Plastic folding panels on the truck bed. This is water-tight. I have moved this bed cover from my older F150 truck to my newer model... Company sells new water seals and parts etc...

All folds up behind the truck rear window and works well with 5th wheel hitch in truck bed...

I use the CIPA slip overs. Hardly no adjustment when you install/remove. Passed the DOT rear visual test twice...even the side of the TT with the awning supports nested.

I use the CIPA mirrors, also. I tried several other kinds but they all shook and vibrated. These are rock solid and easy to install and take off. When I reinstall the don't even have to be readjusted.
