Aftermarket auto-leveling jacks

Wondering what prices people are paying to have aftermarket auto-leveling jacks added to their Class C's. Please let me know what type and a ball park price of what you paid to have them installed.

Not interested in those who installed them, themselves. Or those that level by another means.

Thanks
  • I have not had them installed yet but I have done a lot of research and am getting the Big Foot QEI-4 point fully automatic system with lifetime warranty on the cylinders,2 years on all other parts and 1 year on labor installed $ 4595.00 installed shortly.
  • go to the HWH factory in Moscow Iowa and have it done. I went a year ago July and had my Leaking hyd jack system removed and an air leveling with my airbag system installed $4900

Do any Class C's come with airbag system like yours? :h
Not many 40' Class C's around either. :S
  • Had HWH (Model 225) joystick style-cheaper then push button style, straight action-not kickdown, bought & installed by CW Myrtle Beach on Hwy 501 on 7/2009.
Out the door price rounded to $3600. Also received a $500 CW credit card being offered at the time. So I considered final price was $3100.
Finally in 2014 had a problem with the right rear jack slowly coming up after being extended about a week. While on vacation near Moscow, Iowa set up a visit to HWH, repaired in couple hours for $103, $90 labor-$7 parts-tax.
Verrry happy with jacks, whichever you decide to want, get'um, as you get older you will thank yourself. My wife thanks me all the time.
  • We paid $4,750 (installed). This included having our dealer take the motorhome to Indiana and back to have the HWH system installed. I suspect that if you do the traveling yourself, the cost will be a bit cheaper.

I originally swore that I would never spend that kind of money on something like this, but as the years have gone by, and the health begins to fail, I now think that it is one of the greatest mods. I have ever had done.
  • I have heard that you can buy the package from a dealer and have it installed at HWH which is cheaper than going to HWH directly (they don't want to undercut dealers). I believe Lichtsinn RV is one dealership that works that way.

I guess that means shop around.
  • I had the HWH semi-automatic levelers installed on my 'C' at the same place I bought them, Holman Motors in Batavia, OH. Mine are kick down because I'm too close to the ground for straight acting jacks. Long time ago, so I don't remember what I paid. But when you pull into a campground when its wet or raining outside, they're worth every penny. Mine extend in pairs, and all I have to do is push the button that's lit up on the cockpit display. When that light goes out, you follow the same procedure with the next button that lights up. When they all go out, I'm done.
  • Thanks all.. Going to Iowa would not be ideal for us. It would be over $500 in gas going there and back...lol
