- RLS7201Explorer IIOnce you consider the cost of 19.5 tires and wheels. Think about the best 235/85R16 tire for your MH. Michelin XPS is the tire Ford picked as OEM, for a reason. The XPS has all steel cord construction and that helps eliminate tire side wall flex. I run nothing but Michelin XPS tires on my coach with never a problem. The drive and handling is good.
You current 235/85R16 tires are 32" in diameter. Try and maintain the diameter if you insist on changing wheel size.
Richard - jdc1Explorer IIThe biggest obstruction might be the front end wheel-well. Do a clock-to-clock turn, having someone make sure there is room for the taller tire.
