I was recently in a collision. Other driver turned in front of me, clearly his fault. He has Progressive on his pickup. I have Geico on my motorhome. Both to this point have been excellent. Had to tow MH to three different locations over 2K in tow bills all done with a smile. Both keep me in touch with the process. Progressive has all ready paid for my personal property loss and mailed me my deduct able so I will not be out of pocket. Plus they called and are taking care of any medical. Geico has led the prosess all the way and have all ready reimbursed me for my emergency out of town travel and lodging expenses. This all happened before we received the official police report 6 weeks after the crash. MH is in shop of my choice with close to 50K in damage. Progressive has acknowledged there are loss of use and diminished values we need to address. So far I am very happy with Progressive and Geico. On a note the body shop said they are glad Geico is taking the lead on this as Progressive is a bit harder to work with on repair cost and approval.
Also both these companies beat the competition on premium costs.
