We got one for our Death Valley trip. It was a recommended tool for that far away from civilization but turned out we didn't need it. Since we boondock much of the time, I still like having the small size compressor and carry it with for longer trips. It fits well even in our small C. I have an impact wrench, air blower, and chuck with gauge, all from Harbor Freight, but the compressor is this one. Dewalt 1 gallon compressor
I returned the Porter Cable same sized air compressor because I could not get it to hold pressure. I guess it was common in that model. But here it is in the under couch compartment before I returned it. The replacement sits in the same area and I store the accessories in a small plastic toolbox.

The Dewalt was about $20 more expensive.
We use it in the stick house too when we want something portable. I've had it about 2 years. I notice that sometimes it is difficult to close the release valve on the bottom and get it to pressurize after sitting for some time. I have to fiddle with it but so far it has worked every time eventually.

Mounted this 6 Gal./120V permanently in my rear storage compartment. Added a lightweight 300 Lb. 50' hose so it's easy to reach all the tires. When I want to use it I just start the gen if I'm not connected to shore power.



Can do all the wheels in just a few minutes. Had a pretty expensive 12 V. It still took way longer than I wanted.

Spend the money and get a Viair. 12volts so multi uses around the farm...tractor, riding lawn mower. It really inflate a RV tire from plum flat to 65lbs in about 2 min. Very small with its kit so stores anywhere.

I strongly recommend a 120V compressor, a tank is unnecessary. Here is a good one from Craftsman

Our RV has dual rear wheels so I need to use an extender to inflate the tires. You may have to cut off the end of the hose and replace it with a threaded fitting that will screw into your extender. I did this and bought the parts at O'Reilly auto parts.

I have this one too - does the job well, is lightweight, and reasonably quiet.

I got ours at cw.comes in its on bag, with accseroys. been good for us for bout 4 years. and its a 12v setup. and still working. called --airlift. --now its all --happy-camping

I had a half decent 12v unit for about 5 years. It worked well for airing up my 33" tires on my truck and did okay on the motorhome. I had to do some modifications to use a standard hose and fittings for the motorhome.

Last year I bought this unit from Lowes. It works great for airing tires and it is low profile, so it is easy to carry on the motorhome. It airs up the tires on the motorhome pretty quick.

Craftsman has the exact same unit as well that you can get from Sears.

I have a Craftsman compressor left to me by my father and have had it for 30 years. It has no tank, and can go up to 100 psi. Runs on 120 VAC. I have used it on many types of vehicles from bicycles to motorhomes. It has never failed. I take it with me in the Mother Ship and my only concern is that it is larger than I would like.
