I bet the freeze up detector..(located under the front cover is in a place that gets a bit cold and thus cycles it off..it gets warm again and then cycles it on...search the net for the proper place for the freeze up sensor and make sure it is there...right in that place...you could take it off and run the AC and see if it starts cycling...if not, you found it...and then just find the install manual as to the proper place of the sensor.
