Air leak another question

I was able to pin the leak down to the parking brake push pull valve. It had a sticker on it that said Meritor Webco 936 649 012 0. I have not had any luck locating this part online. Perhaps it has been superseded by another number? Any help on this would be appreciated.
  • Update:
I had no luck trying to cross the number from the tag on the valve. Apparently Holiday Rambler put the sticker on the valve with a Wabco part number but it's not a Wabco valve and the number on the sticker doesn't come up on Wabco's site. Upon further inspection I found a part number embossed on the valve housing with the name Midland. I was able to take that info and find a new valve on Amazon which they call a Midland style KN20031. It's only 24.00 so likely be replacing it again sometime. Thanks to all for looking.
  • Thanks for getting back to all of us on here and letting us know what you found out and, potential part numbers, just in case any of us may need to do the same thing. I too have had an air leak in our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT now for, well, ever since we bought the coach, almost 7 years ago. Sooner or later I'll find that leak.

  • Yeah it is good to hear replacement part only $24! I also have an air leak one dealer said it was engine brake component another dealer had another explanation. I only hear it when I am stopped. I had planned on addressing it this season. I hope my part is also $24 lol

Believe it or not I found one on Ebay priced at $1100.00! Not sure what was up with that.
  • I helped my girlfriend sell many of her late husbands many varied things and we found the some ebay vendors will put ridiculous pricing on stuff to try to suck in an ignorant and unsuspecting customer. Some people just don't do any research. Good you found the valve available at a reasonable price.
