Well, my friend, I don't wish to burst your bubble, but the hitch is but ONE factor: Consider this...
In general, the maximum amount of weight you can safely tow/haul will be the lesser of the following:
• the GCWR (gross combination weight rating) of the MH minus the actual weight of the MH as it is loaded for travel (includes fuel, fresh water, food, clothing, people, pets, supplies, etc.)
• the weight rating of your tow bar
• the weight rating of your hitch
There are those that subscribe to overloading their vehicles and towing capacities. You can ALWAYS find someone to weld something onto your coach so it will accept whatever you want to place in, on or behind your coach. This does not make it safe however. I would hate to see you BUY the coach, spend a bunch more money on mods, only to find the handling and/or safety of the coach was compromised. There's a reason why mfgs place weight restrictions on their vehicles...some folks think they know more than the engineers who designed these rigs...it's your decision and you'll have to live with it. IMO, buy the correct rig for the lifestyle you want to pursue..BOL...Dennis
