A standard mop can be used by laying a microfiber detail cloth over the head but you'd have to switch back and forth between the two rags. Also, as they get dirty, you'd have to change them out anyway... unless you do it so often that they don't really get dirty during one use. It would seem that the guy with the $200 fancy one would require the same changing and, if not, for the same reason.
Personally, I've tried the mops (not the one you mention... but others) on handles and I keep going back to MacGuier's Ultimate waterless wash/wax and microfiber cloths on a ladder. It's hard to beat the up close and personal approach to achieve the best results. Just my opinion, of course.
