Alternator

My alternator on my 2007 Discovery with a 330 Cat and Freightliner chassis quit charging when running. The Generator and shore power charges the batteries so I am assuming the alternator is faulty. It only has 36,000 miles on it. Is this normal or am I overlooking something? Thanks in advance for any advise.:h

    Based on a very recent experience with my coach, I would suggest you check for wire damage from a rodent. One of the power leads off the alternator had a small break in it where the son-of-a-gun had feasted on it.

    No, not normal.
    Need to check alternator output with a meter. Maybe a mobile tech can help you.
    How about your dash gauge? What does it read?
