Amount of water from washer

I have a splendide 2000s washer/dryer . Does anyone know how much water this thing uses on one normal wash? I got up this morning and found water in my shower. I did not know my wife had washed that much yesterday plus she thought I had left the gray valve open. Oh well. I think I have about a 60 or 70 gallon gray tank.

Thanks

Ken

  • Mine also uses water when it dries. Since it is not vented to the outside, cold water is used to condense the moisture then it is all pumped out.

On the full cotton setting, the thing could use up to 20 gallons..and if you use the extra rinse setting button, it could be up to 30...ask me how I know how...

  • Open the manual to page 9. The following are the amounts of water used for the first three items in each section:

    Cotton, HD: 12, 7 1/2, 9.

    Perm Press: 12, 12, 9.

    Delicates: 16 1/2, 18, 15.

    Ken,
My Splendide uses 10-12 gal. per average load.

However they can use 8 to 16 gal. per load, (depending upon the size of the loads, the wash/rinse cycles used, and the water pressure available in your coach).

  • Leave the grey open when washing. Leave a little up and down loop in your sewer hose where it connects to the park fitting. Walk around the RV park and you will notice. Kind of a home made trap.
