Another question on the CHF

Did the front bar on MH, moved the struts back to second holes on the bar. Not sure on the rear as I had to force the struts back toward the rear, it is under tension now not like before . Is this right. I,m think ing of test driving with just the front done and again when and if I do the rear.

  • If they make them for your chassis, buy Sumo Springs and forget everything else. It really makes that much difference.

    This is likely the correct answer. I took everything apart, cleaned, lubed and reassembled as there was a lot of dirt in the joints

  • I assume you are talking about the f53 ford chasis to reduce sway? Did mine on previous coach and don't remember having to force anything but I did use my jacks to level it taking pressure off the suspension. Also I found replacing the rubber bushings with polyurethane made a huge difference. I used the black so they didn't squeek like the red.
