Anti-Sway Bar Bushing

Has anyone replaced those pair of rubber bushings on a P30 454 Chev chassis? The sway bar bushings look smashed with cracks.

Mine look squashed and I'd like to replaced them both. Only one looks bad than the other, but I would like them (both) replaced. They look like split type.

Is this a DIY project? Or is there special procedure to follow prior to removing these bushings? What material is better than the other?

I know the weight has to be relieved before proceeding.

BTW: They are the rear bushings.

    If you go to YOUTUBE, look for the how to videos, really good demonstrations. Most suggest replacing the bolts with new, and to spray the old bolts with WD-40 or such, to get them to loosen up more easily. Good luck.
