Any BT Cruiser User groups stll around?

Hi, we have a 2005 BT Cruiser 5290 that we love! Met several owners of BT Cruisers this summer while vacationing in out travel trailer. We went home and found the one of our dreams. Now we don't see very many around! Anyone interested in having either a virtual group or maybe having a rendezvous somewhere next summer. Anyone interested?

  • We are new to the BT Cruiser, just purchased a 2004, 5230. We are currently replacing the carpet and cleaning it up for a trip out west next month. Would love to be in a group pf BT owners, there experience will help and maybe answer a few questions about the unit. Ours did not come with any information or manual. We love it!
  • Yes there is a BT Cruiser group that is very active We have 2 rally's every year, 1 in the spring and 1 in the fall. We have gone on our rally's anywhere from the east coast to as far west as San Antonio, Tx, To Wisconsin, Minn. and as far south as the Gulf coast. You can go to the following link and join up. • Our first major change in our 2005 BT Cruiser. We have the 5290. (31 ft) It had two heavy Samsung CRT TVs, one in bedroom, one over cab. My hubby and son went to Habitat for Humanity and found 3/4 inch cabinet wood that matched the wood in our MH. They made very nice doors that flush mount with piano hinges. They used window sash closures to lock door shut. Got flat mount TV mounts and cork gasket material. They used that for taking away rattle (vibration). When they mounted bracket, used stove bolts with lockwashers and nuts. The cabover had insulation showing so they bought the shower fiberglass plastic board you can buy at Home Depot in lumber and cut it as wide as cabinet and long enough for it to arc into shape. Now it looks finished inside! If wanted I will take pictures and post on facebook, as I do not know how to post them here.
  • 21 ft 2004 here. Bought new, fixed a number of factory design flaws, still running great! :C
  • We have a 2005 BT Cruiser and have had it for about a year. I would enjoy having a group of owners - perhaps on Facebook? I think it would be great to share stories and suggestions.
  • OK, so far 3 and counting! We are from Northwest! We fell in love with BT Cruiser this summer when we met an owner from Washington while we were in Montana that had a 5291! Then we met 2 different owners in Medora, ND. We came home and bought ours. Where do you live and tell us about yourselves! We are retirees (58 an 66) and camp 1 to 3 months a year off and on! Parents of 3 sons, grandparents of 13 including an angel in heaven. Own two very spoiled Shih Tzus.
  • We love our's too and will enjoy communicating with other owners!
  • We have a 2004 24' BT Cruiser. We live on Long Island so a get together next Summer might be tough. We may be traveling to MI next Summer but haven't planned our trip yet. A virtual group would be good. We have enjoyed the Cruiser. We drove to NS last year and Quebec City this year.
