Any laws in any State restricting Legnth?

I looked it up for you in the State of Washington if you ever come and visit. RCW 46.44.030 says you can be 61' 6" and a person can go to the DOT and get a over length permit for a fee and they will allow 75' and you have to have a placard on your vehicle stating your over length, and I believe you need a pilot car escort if your traveling over length at night. Anyway, your good to go in WA. State.

Ii travel coast to coast at 74 ft total length and havnt had any problems with law enforcement. just drive with care and don't draw attention

CA has 65' combination. If TV is truck tractor and 2 trailers do not exceed 28'6" each then it is 75'. There are exceptions but RVs are not included.

You need to also consider that towing laws are not reciprocal.

Even that wont be right as Ca allows up to 75ft for certain combinations for trucks and rv's cant exceed 65ft. Here in Nv there is no overall length limit for trucks but its 70ft for rv's. This is why i said you need to check each state you plan to travel in.

Get a truckers Road Atlas from a truck stop and it list the limits and rules of the roads for all states.

You certainly could be right. Was just thinking about those 45' Prevost folks towing their Hummers who kept getting ticketed but maybe it was 65 and not 60. I used to pull an extended Chevy Van with my 40' coach and I was legal but if I was 45 pulling the same toad I would have been over the limit so it must be 65'.

Bill, I believe CA is 65', at least everything I looked at confirms this.

You need to check each state individually and not a towing guide or ask here and yes there are length limits.There is already misinformation being given to you here.
