any nexus phantum 23 p owners

do the nexus owners make more than 1 configuration as far as the dinette goes?maybe offer a nice couch instead?are they as well made as the videos seem to show.and what mileage with the 350 chassis.
  • Someone recently asked a similar question about them...oh, wait...nevermind :) :) :) just kidding with you.

DW and I are looking at floorplans for a possible downsize after DS graduates from college...the 23P is one we really like.

We would also prefer a sofa to a dinette but not sure if it is offered.
  • We have a 2012 23P(we bought ours used with 6K miles - see my sig) and absolutely love it. After 20,000+ miles the first year we could not be more pleased. Ours has the large U shaped dinette and without that configuration we would not have bought. It is practical/functional, roomy and comfortable like you would not believe. The simulated (fake), leather sold under the trade name "Pleather" is soft, supple and holds up very well (easy to clean).

I recently traded e mails with a prospective 23P buyer who found one (I think it was at CW in Kentucky), that had a 6'couch in place of the U shaped dinette and it looked very nice. Since Nexus will build them just about any way you want there are some variations out there. I think the 23P is perhaps the roomiest ( a true "wide body" at 101" with 7' of headroom throughout the coach), 24' C on the market and certainly one of the best built.

Obviously I am a big fan of Nexus and will be happy to share our very positive experience with them. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

    :B
  • We bought a Phantom 28P back in May. Ours has 2 barrel chairs and flip up table instead of the dinette. On the opposite side is a jackknife sofa. We bought it slightly used, but I believe you can customize it to your liking as long as it's feasible. Yes, they are very well made. We have put over 5000 trouble free miles on ours. I highly recommend Nexus RV.
  • You need to just pickup the phone and call Nexus. The one thing they offer that most other manufacturers lack is building it the way you want. They will customize any component to your liking if possible, just call and ask!
