Any pull a toad with a View, Navion or Solera?

Wondering if anyone pulls a toad with one of these small motorhomes? Possibly a Honda CRV? How well does it pull? How well does it stop? I have an exhaust break on my Monaco that is essential with large hills. The small ones here do not. So is it a nightmare are going down a steep pass?

Thanks for any comments.

  • Lots of folks tow behind them. I tow a 2000 Tracker behind mine. I have an RVi Brake. No issues descending....I just drop down to the appropriate gear. I came down a 14% descent on Utah 12 in that config. I won't say I enjoyed it as I'd never made a descent like that EVER in an RV but it was fine. It had my undivided attention all the way down. I go over our major local pass (Snoqualmie) at about 50 when pulling the toad. I try to take it easy. I'm still passing all the tractor trailers and running with all the other loaded RVs.
  • Lot of people we have known in our WIT club tow with these. The newer ones have a 5000 pound tow rating some of the early ones has 3500 pound tow rating.
