Yes, it more closely controls boiler temperature to extend cooling unit life. It is amazing how quickly boiler temperature rises if you stop out of level for a few minutes (like checking into a CG, getting fuel out of level, rest area, etc). BTW, not sure about the Amish part, bu not sure it matters.
Just one more reason ( actually several) to turn off the refrigerator and all propane, while traveling! No good reasons for not doing so - except disbelief.
