Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

A little extra construction today on the cabinet. I have these screwed and glued into place.

Thanks for the post, Ro_sie. The mental image I got when reading this, gave me cause to chuckle. Certainly not fun at the time, but still amusing, non the less.

I have built several over the years. We currently have two in in our house that I built. I build them with a towel rack on the bottom and a recessed shelf.

I dont know if you have ever had a cabinet over the toilet but I have. Years back they sold those over the toilet cabinets on poles. I bought one. I learned quickly that before I opened that cabinet you had to make sure to close the lid on the toilet. Certainly, no fun if you dont.

I have been wanting to add a cabinet over the toilet. This area here will stick out about 10 inches or so, directly over the toilet. I put a few pieces in place temporarily to see how it would play out when standing in the shower, and more importantly when sitting down on the toilet and standing up after using same.

When standing up, I lean front to get my weight directly over my legs and as such, this cabinet area will not be in the way. It's high enough when seated, and when leaning front to sit and stand, is well out of the way, so it should be fine, and give us extra storage. Wahoo!

Started working inside the shower/toilet area a little bit today.

This piece of plywood needed to be cut, trimmed and glued into place. This is at the top, overhead, when exiting the shower/toilet.

We had several inches of snow here in central Pa. Then it rained on top of it and melted about half of it, which turned it into a very slushy mess. Very difficult to shovel or snow blow. Would keep clogging up the blower, so I didn't bother to get it out.

With some sun today, it melted a bunch of it, however, we are supposed to get a few inches tonight as well. Then again, maybe not. In this area, you just can never tell until it's over.
