Maybe you could get fancy and do a fade in sunrise or sunset colors. That would get folks' attention...
We had a spinnaker in sky blue, yellow, orange, red, and dark blue made up for our sailboat many years ago, before we decided to come ashore with a Class A. Got a lot of attention, and made it easy for folks to link up -- just look for the sunset spinnaker.
Not fully decided yet. I did however, temporarily hang this up a few days ago, just to see how it would look on the back.
Even though I'm not a beach person, I kind of like this on the back. I'm sure there are plenty of other things that would look just as nice back there.
Ooh, I like that. It really would look great pretty much anywhere on the RV.
That actually is a shower curtain. It's not a plastic one, it's more like a water resistant cloth. What I was hoping for, was ....
Go ahead, call me crazy .... I know....
I cut a small portion of that off, and took a piece of plywood, coated it with Por 15, and then while still wet, applied the piece of shower curtain, and then applied another coat of Por15 on top of that.
Unfortunately, the curtain bubbled up just a little, so it did not work.
I want to try a piece of cloth and do the same thing. I was hoping that if I could get that to work, it would be a cheap version of a vinyl wrap.
I know, I know, that's just crazy. Well, there is a fine line between being a genius and crazy, and I never claimed to be a genius. Lol...- WanderlostNomad II

This summer has been relatively hot during much of it. With the insulation I have installed, and since I have the TPO white colored roofing laying in place, the inside of the coach has remained relatively nice.
When I say that, I mean, the inside of the coach has been only about 5 degrees warmer than the outside air temp. That is when I have the front - pilot/co-pilot area closed off with a piece of plastic.
That area gets much warmer, with the windshield area. The ceiling is also not insulated up there.
So, overall, I am happy with the performance of the insulation system that I put in place, and I would expect heating over the winter will be much easier than it was.
There, I finally remembered to get that posted. Brob wrote:
Nice looking trusses.
Have you been hit by the increase in lumber prices where you are? Here in Florida everything has tripled! A 2x4x8' board that was 1.97 in March is now 5.98!!!
Prices are up. 8' long 2 x 4's running anywhere from $5.17 to $6.10 depending on type, with pressure treated @ $7.57.
2 x 3 x 8's are $2.60, if they can be used. Plywood is up as well.
It is what it is. Pay it, do without, or find a substitute, I guess. Lol.
Supposed to rain tomorrow, so I'm not sure whether I'll get any work done or not.
Thanks for the post.- BrobExplorerNice looking trusses.
Have you been hit by the increase in lumber prices where you are? Here in Florida everything has tripled! A 2x4x8' board that was 1.97 in March is now 5.98!!! - After starting the first 2 screws, to hold things in place, I added all of the screws, just to make it easier to go down the line.

Lather, rinse, and repeat! That is how I ended up with all 4 of these....
It's not rocket science. They are also probably not quite perfect, but for what I need them for, they will work just fine. Wahoo.
By the way, I used 256 screws for these 4 trusses. Lol. - Next was to lay down a fresh 2 x 4 x 16, and flip over the one that I had just screwed together.

Before starting to screw all of the bottom screws in place, I made sure that the ends were properly aligned. Just used a square laid on the top piece and made sure it lined up with the bottom.
- Then, just keep on adding the short pieces, one against the other.

Then, just keep adding until it looks like this.
- Makes it easy to just hold the upright in place, while driving in the screws.

- Next I inserted all of the screws in the holes that will go on the first 16 foot 2 x 4.
