- Lt46Explorer IIMy guess is your bride found them in the washing machine. LOL
- So, we are back to looking like this...............

Yea, by the time I was done with this - I was done for the day. It was time to relax....... - Here was my solution for moving a 16 foot long scaffolding truss.
After taking off the legs, and railing, I left the main truss/flooring section together.
To say it was heavy and awkward, would be an understatement.
So, I put a small hand cart under the one end, and just let the other end drag across the driveway and then grass, until I got it next to the truck where I was going to store it for the winter.
I then lifted one end up on the truck, and wrestled it into place on the bed of the truck.
The 8 foot long pieces I could just carry, so they weren't as much of a problem for me. - Places like this, with the red arrows.

While I am not 100 percent finished with the roof - I have just a little up front, and across the rear to do, I needed to get the plywood out of the weather before it starts to de-construct itself.
With that in mind, I took the scaffolding down today.
These screws came from holding the railing together, the 2 x 3's used for legs, the corner braces that helped strengthen the railing at the base.
All those - sorta important points - took 'em out.
I will say, it's much easier putting them in than it is taking them out. If the angle of the bit isn't just right, the bit tends to slip out of the square drive.
I would love to see Kreg switch to a Torx head, instead of a square drive system. Then again, how often do you take 'em out, once they're in? - Screws. What does it look like? Screws. Lol.
2.5" coated Kreg screws. 1 pile. Then we have piles of 5 screws per pile.
235 screws in total. There are probably about 15 or so missing, because they snapped off.
So, for a round number, we'll call it 250 screws.
Where'd they come from? - SAY WHAT???
- Son came over today, and we had a family day. No work done. Still was a great day.

We have three of the 9' NuWave2 Precision Induction cooktops and the most we paid for anyone of them was $50.00 at KMart. One was purchased new in box at a yard sale for $15.00 and the other one was a gift. They are super to use and super safe around old folks and children. We use them in the home and Motor Home.
Wouldn't leave home without one.
Who u callin' old???? Lol..
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to look around a little bit and see what our options. are.
