I ran Toyo's on the front for 7 years and then put on Sumotoma's (sp?). Anyway I like both of them and usually buy based on best price at the time and where I am. Toyo's were just fine and I did not notice a rough ride. I'm sure the Michelin is a fine tire, but when I needed tires, they were just too high.
In my situation, they don't wear out, they just get weather checked and it's time to replace them.
