Good morning,My very first posting started with"Good Morning, I am new to forums and to motor homes.Please bear with me when I ask stupid questions and make forum social blunders." 11/19/13I want to explain why I posted essentially the same topic twice.I had read some of the responses to my post and I went back to read them again.I could not remember where they were and I could not find them.I have a good memory but it is short!I posted the same post again hoping to get pretty much the same info so that I could copy it and put in on my pc in a motor home file..To "2oldman" you are incorrect.I liked the answers just fine.To wny_pat,Dog Folks,OhhWell and Ivylog you are correct, I did not know where to look.I see it did not take me long to make my first social blunder in this forum.I will try to be more efficient in the future.

Go to sign in. My forums then my post for your history.

To find your posts:On the top upper right hand corner of this page in blue is "My Forums".Click on "My Forums" and then click on "My Posts".That will list ALL your posts and in what forum.Also:If you click on your name to the left of any of your posts a drop down will provide you with "view posts" click on that and all your posts will appear from there also.Took me awhile to find these easy tips to find your posts too so don't be so hard on yourself! :B

RetiredHoserI really don't see where an apology is necessary. You caused no harm to anybody. We all make mistakes especially while we are in the learning mode. If I told you that I never made a mistake on this forum I would be less then truthful. You will find that there are sometimes those that seem to have a strong comment on what one posts but it happens to all of us. Just continue on and don't worry about it. Hopefully this forum will be helpful to you in your search for answers as it has been for so many of us. We look forward to your future posts. Enjoy your new hobby.

Being on this forum requires one to be accepting of the idiots of the world.....you are not an idiot. We've all made blunders. I got so fed up in the past, I closed out my account....but I found I missed being able to get the info I needed (or in some cases, didn't know I needed). I rejoined....all total, I've been on here about 8 yrs. There are some on here that believe they have to criticize and humiliate people. Hang in there, it's worth it.

Nah. Don't grow thicker skin, that'd turn you into the same offensive types that make people want to grow thicker skin. Why configure onesself to accommodate those who don't deserve accommodation?

After you've been around a bit longer, you'll recognize those you'll want to ignore. Fortunately there's a feature here that enables one to ignore specific commenters.

Most commenters here are civil with nothing to prove. They seem to be here to share their knowledge, experience, and the comradery with and of this RVing community.

This forum is like a large family. Most you will love, a few are offensive, and even less are truly nuts. You will be able to tell whom is whom.

Also-check out the SUBSCRIBE button at the top left of the thread you're looking at-great tool to be kept up to date on what you're been reading and new posts-(by the way(BTW) a thread as the actuall group of posts that come up to together when someone posts a new topic) Feel free to ask questions-most of us are very receptive!

I second the use of the Subscribe button. If it is one of my posts/threads or sone other one and I want to follow what is being said, I use the Subscrige button. I then always go first to the My Forums button and look at those (clicking on the number brings up where the new posts start) and then going to the Class A or other forums that I want to take a look at the subjects being discussed.

Again, welcome and ignore what should be ignored.

Grow a thicker skin if you're going to let these yahoos get under it. They eat a lot. LOL

Just so you know. People post what they think and without facial expressions to que off of you will read their post as deadly serious as someone holding a gun to your face. The written word is very powerful whether it was really meant to be that way or just a light hearted jab.

That said, join us for a spirited debate on what tires to use, which oil is better, or is walmart camping or just plain offensive debates anytime. They will help toughen your nerves of play-doh into steel.
