I don't care what the coach builder does, the engine manufacturers dictate exactly what type of coolant goes thru their engines. And Aqua Hot specifically does not allow the use of a automotive type coolant in their systems. There has to be some type of heat interchange, but the Aqua Hot coolant does not go into your engine, and the engine coolant does not mix with your Aqua Hot coolant. I may not know anything about the Aqua Hot system, but I know that much.

AquaHot gurus here. I have downloaded the service and owners manuals for my particular model and now have a better understanding of how the system works. However, you bring up another question regarding the type of coolant used in the AquaHot. You said that AquaHot specifically does not allow the use of automotive type coolant in the system. The manual for my system specifies that "Green Ethylene Glycol" antifreeze is used. Is that not regular automotive antifreeze?
