Ive been outer beach camping for 11-12 years but in a TT not a C. I have seen a couple of c's as well as a large C that has a truck front on it. All our sand is soft and those who dont air down chew up the access roads for everyone else. It also beats up the equipment. I air down to 13 pounds in the front and 15 in the rear and 20 on the TT, and have yet to get stuck. I spoke with a TC parked on the beach and he said the weight of the TC flattens out his rears so all he does is air down his fronts. The other c I spoke to does 20 pounds all around.
I like that "fishing angle" of course I cant do that as they typically prohibit trailers but there is a lot of that here on Eastern LI. Our next TV with be a pick up and Ill be looking for a used TC to put on it.
Cool Rig! Happy trails!
