Thanks for any and all comments.

  • Didn't work on my gutter and I would never consider using it on an RV which is subject to movement, wind etc.
  • We had to pull our toilet and while attempting to put it back in place, it slipped out of DH's hands and fell to the floor. It appeared to be unharmed and we set it in place. We filled it with water and all was well. 2 hours later, I went into the room and found a small drop of water on the floor. Looked closely and there was a hairline fracture of the tank, about 3" long on BOTH sides of the tank. Dang, new toilet! Hey, we have that spray-on stuff. Let's give it a try. Emptied tank, dried it with towel, dried it with hair dryer. Applied a layer and let dry for 24 hrs. Another coat, let dry for 24 hrs. OK, let's see how it holds.

It has been 6 months and it is still holding despite us using the toilet 10-12 times each day. I am waiting for it to let go, but so far, it's working well.
  • I have used it three times (same can) around a vent pipe in the roof that has leaked from day one, nearly. Don't honestly know if the last application took care of it, but probably not. I put a plastic dish under the drip and it evaporates. One good thing, it only leaks when it rains!!

  • Yup, used it around the second floor deck on my sticks and bricks. When snow would pile up and melt while we were gone in the winter it would leak around the edges of the membrane. Used to hire a local kid to shovel it off during the winter, now he's gone to college.

Sprayed that As Seen On TV leak stuff around the edges two years ago - no more leaks!
  • Don't waste your money. I tried it on a skylight and it stayed for awhile then peeled off. Like most products "seen on TV" it's a novel idea but a poor product.

That said, there may be specific applications where it does work, but it won't stick to plastic.

If you really want to seal up something, try Hengs roof coating.
