Atwood Furance Help!

1993 National RV need to remove Atwood furnace exhaust pipe and burner from outside. Model 8625 II Found full of stink bugs. Blower works but stopped igniting after working fine this spring and early fall. Can't figure out how to remove exhaust pipe to get to burner and check it. Any help please! ....Ken
  • if it is a 8525 there is a nut on a bracket upper left of the exhaust then pull it out might be stuck try twisting alittle

  • Thanks you members are great. The pipe must be rusted a bit will try rotation and a little more pressure.
  • This happened to a buddy of mine. His furnace was full of them. We took the vent off and sucked as many as we could out..
He then fired up the furnace to see what was going to happen!.
Burnt stink bugs started shooting out like a hot air popcorn popper...
OMG what a stench. If you think they smell bad when you crush them, try to cook them.
    Good Luck

Mine failed last night.. Blower no blow.> Too cold to work on it now I'll use alternate heat till I get to SC and then go to work on it.. But that might be the issue (Bugs) will know more when I get to it..

If it is not one thing ..... .It is 3.. Today I go to Marshall MI and get a new Reman Progressive Dybamnics 9180 to replace the failed unit 12.5 years. Not bad.
