Wow thanks for all the replies....I agree that a pre-inspection should have been more extensive. I fired up the unit before taking off and it worked just fine so I figured any obstructions where gone...maybe something got in the tube while camped. I know spiders can build a web in 45 minutes. Crazy!! I am going to just replace the whole unit. I hope I can get the water lines from under the cabinet drawers....they must have put in the cabinets after the heater. It will be like working on a Honda engine...LOL. No chance of removing the cabinet. Maybe have to remove some screwed in drawer hardware to be able to reach inside.
Yes it could have been worse. The only thing I need to now figure out is how to clean off the black marks on the fiber glass above the heater. I am thinking some bug off or some sort of mild chemical. If anyone knows of something that works let me know.
