OK I replaced the new unit....had a problem getting the old one out since a frame board from under the sink was hanging down and was caught on the foam. Anyhow I got the new one in and it works great. I think the old one which was almost 10 yrs old was due to be retired. The coach was originally a rental unit which we bought from El Monte. So somethings probable had been abused. Overall it has been a great RV. Engine has over 100k and still goes almost 10k miles on a quart of oil. I use Mobil 1 synthetic so that helps.
